Mrs. Cagley was born Oct. 26, 1906, in Weston, a daughter of Albert H. and Anna M. Brandt Erdman. She married Joseph D. Cagley on Feb. 16, 1931, in Colfax. He died Nov. 11, 1995.
Survivors include three sons, Lyle Cagley of Bloomington, Charles Cagley of Champaign and Donald Cagley of Cullom; a daughter, Beverly Owen of Bloomington; eight grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a stepbrother, a stepsister and two grandsons.
Mrs. Cagley farmed with her husband in Shirley for most of her life and retired. She moved to Bloomington and was a head cook at Trinity Lutheran School and pastry cook at Normal Community High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was involved in Dorcas Circle.
