Son of James J. and Susan Harrison, he married Louise Christine Bland around 1845, probably in Prince George County, Virginia. He died from effusion of the brain. He was originally interred in the Harrison family square in Ward I (Old ground). His remains were removed on 15 Nov 1907 to Ward O and interred in the square with his son Robert W. Harrison and mother-in-law Mary B. (Perkinson) Bland. (Information from original cemetery register and census records)
