Edwin R. Flessner, 92, passed away January 6, 2007. He was born October 16, 1914 in Shiner to Henry and Emma Cook Flessner. He married Maurine Schroller January 9, 1938 in Yorktown. He worked for DeWitt County Coop for 34 years. Mr. Flessner had been a farmer & rancher, a member of Lutheran Brotherhood, Ministerial Alliance, AARP, Cuero Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, son: Douglas Flessner and Caraleen of Cuero, daughter-in-law: Barbara Flessner of Cuero, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by her parents, son: Harlan Flessner, 3 sisters: Erna Block Balzen, Emma Stock, and Lydia Thieme, and 2 brothers: Henry Flessner and Leslie Flessner.
