Lonny B. Collins, 82, of West Frankfort passed away at 7:58 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 3, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Andrew Buck and Belva (Bowers) Collins. He married Judy K. Lamont on June 1, 1976 in West Frankfort. Survivors include his wife, Judy Collins of West Frankfort and their five children; Bryan Collins of West Frankfort, Lonna Herrell of West Frankfort, Mike (Susan) Hood of West Frankfort, Renee Pratt of Johnston City and Deann Rich of West Frankfort; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Paul Collins and sisters, Norma Jean, Virginia and Betty Sue all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a twin sister. He was a member of the First Christian Church in West Frankfort and served in the United States Air Force. Lonny and his wife own and operated Collins Carpet and Wallpaper in West Frankfort for many years. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the Boner Cemetery in West Frankfort with Tim Uhls officiating. There will be no visitation friends are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the service. Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
