WILHELMINE JACOB WAS PIONEER OF NEWTON TOWN

Mrs. W. Jacobs(sic) Died at Madison;

To Be Buried at Old Home

Messages from Madison today brought to relatives and friends the sad announcement of the death in that city of Mrs. Wilhelmina Jacobs, a pioneer of Newton and long time resident of Manitowoc County.

Mrs. Jacobs who is the mother of Bernard Jacobs, 1520 Clarks Street, died at the home of her daughter in Madison where she had been making her home for some time past. Death was due to advanced age, Mrs. Jacobs having attained the age of four score years when death's summons came to her.

Six children survive her, Bernard, this city; Charles and Julius, Valders; Mrs. Henry Boehringer, Mrs. H. Pleus and Mrs. Fred Schleutter, Madison.

The body will be brought here for burial at Newton arriving at 10 this evening and being taken to Liberty where the funeral will be held from the home of Charles Jacobs on Friday. Mrs. Jacobs is remembered by a large circle of friends as a woman whose kindness of heart and sincere friendship won her the esteem of all who knew her.
