George W. Gorski, 66, of Antioch, passed away Monday, July 18, at Condell Hospital, Libertyville. He was born June 28, 1911 in Oglesby, IL. and lived in Chicago for many years before moving to Antioch in 1951.
He was a member of the Antioch Lodge No. 525 Loyal Order of Moose and was a self-employed carpenter before his retirement.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Arlene (Bruce) Kendall of Antioch; one brother, Albert of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren, Laura and George. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne in 1973; two brothers, Tony and William and one sister, Sally O'Koskie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m . tomorrow at the Strang Funeral Home, Antioch. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
