MRS. CONERTON DIES THIS NOON ;WAS 83 YRS. OLD
Mrs. Margaret Conerton,83, widow of the late John Conerton of Dimmick township, died at noon today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jon J Cody, Fifth and Tonti street. she had been in failing health for some time past.

Mrs. Conerton, was a resident of LaSalle county for seventy three years and she had some interesting recollections of the pioneer days, particularly of the region surrounding Streato, where she resided for many years.

Born in Ireland, in August, 1839, she came to America with her parents at the age of nine. The family settled in Eagle township , northwest Streator, where Mrs. Conerton resided until her marriage. She and her husband then moved to Dimmick township, where she lived for half a century. She has made her home with her daughter for ten years.

Surviving are seven sons and daughters: Sister Mary Gabriel of Carney hospital,Boston, Mrs. Hannah Somers of Ivesdale,Ill., Mrs. John J Cody pf LaSalle; John Conerton south Dakota ;Jeffery Conerton of Laclede Mo., Alfre Conerton of Dimmick and Frank Conerton . Her husband died in 1909.

The funeral will be held at ten o'clock Friday morning and services at St. Patrick's church and interment at St. Vincent's cemetery. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
