Wesley Owen Weeks, age 88, of Center Point Community, passed away at his home Sunday morning. He was born in Jefferson County to William Ryan and Elsie Mae Noble Weeks. Mr. Weeks served 4 years of military service in the U.S. Navy and served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring from the military with 25 years of service to his country. He was a Baptist and Member of the SS McKenley Reunion Members. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Ellen Duckett Weeks, wife of 65 years and parents.

Survivors include son, Son, Wesley O. (Tammie) Weeks, Jr.; Daughter, Donna Jo (Larry) Oden; Brother, Maurice (Arnice) Weeks; Grandchildren, Laura Francis Mans, Chase LeAnne Weeks, and Sarah Beth Reese; Great Grandchildren, Byron Mans and Isabella Grace Reese; and a host of nieces, Nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held a at 2 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Center Point Baptist Church with burial in adjoining cemetery. Mr. Weeks, Sr. will lie in state at the church from 1 pm until services begins at 2 pm Wednesday. Visitation will be 6pm - 8 pm Tuesday evening at Holly Pond Funeral Home.
