SUMMERFIELD, Robert Norman - Age 43, born September 3, 1958, of Flint, MI, went home to gloriously dwell forever with Jesus Christ the Savior - who prepared a place for him in the mansionous heavenly house of our LORD - on Sunday, June 16, 2002. Looking onward are Mr. Summerfield's kinly endearment including his parents Timothy and Linda Alberts of Houghton Lake, MI; children, Rebekah Leibel of Pen Argyl, PA and Craig Summerfield of Pen Argyl, PA; 2 brothers, Paul Giles of Twining, MI and James Alberts of Burt, MI; 4 sisters, Melody Stillwagon of Mt. Morris, MI, JoAnn Ferrigno of Bethlehem, PA, Patricia Whyte of Clio, MI and Katrina Kean of Midland, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Donald Maples and grandparents Paul and Ruth Giles. Roberts days were spent to the best of his ability in the very nature of man, falling, at times hard, but always getting up (even now), working long and hard to fulfill his financial duty and at last, in a new creature, finding strength and humor to comfort others and seeking to make peace. Brown Funeral Home will present him for visitation Monday 6-9 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dale Lewis presiding. Interment at Flint Memorial Park.
