Pamela Genette Boles, 71, of Norwood died Wednesday Evening, January 11, 2017 at her home.
Funeral Services will be hold 3:00PM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Porter United Methodist Church. Rev. David McAuley and Rev. Gene Moore will officiate and burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery. The family will received friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Friday evening January 13, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.
Pam was born June 9, 1945 in Stanly County. She was the daughter of the late Kay West and Letha Mabry Boles. She was a 1963 Graduate of South Stanly High School and was a retired LPN with Stanly Regional Medical Center with 44 years of service. Pam was a lifelong member of Porter United Methodist Church where she had been a member of the choir since age 11, played the Organ and Piano for many years, a member of the UMW and served as Assistant Sunday School Teacher. She chaired the 100 year celebration of her beloved church. Pam blessed many with her infectious smile and abundant laughter, which she shared with all she met.
Survivors include, her lifelong friend, Valeria Morton of Norwood. Pam's love for her family and church will be cherished by her Mabry, Boles and Story cousins.
To honor Pam, the family requests all wear red in her memory.
