Mary Jane Fitzgibbon Voll, 97, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Nazareth Home.Mary Jane was born on July 1, 1919 in Louisville to the late Marie Coleman and Martin Fitzgibbon. She was a graduate of Holy Rosary Academy (1937), and attended secretarial school becoming a private secretary until her marriage to Arthur H. Voll in 1947. She was a long - time member, officer and volunteer of the Queens Daughters, Boys Haven, Our Lady of Peace Auxiliary, St. Agnes Altar Society, ROAR, and the University Club of Louisville.Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her beloved husband of 59 years, Art, who died in 2006; her sister Virginia Bertelsen; and a brother, Paul Fitzgibbon.Survivors include her devoted daughter, Jane Thornton (Richard); a son, Douglas Voll; grandchildren, Carolyn Gabriel (Paul) of St. Louis, MO.; Daniel Thornton, Elizabeth Olson (Aaron) of Jeffersonville, IN.; as well as her great grandchildren, Cayla Harshfield and Tessa Jane Gabriel.Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 – 7 PM Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
