Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday in the Evenson Chapel for Clarence A. Sullivan, 62, who died early last night at his home in Thorp.

The Rev. Silas E. Erickson will officiate and the Kittitas IOOF Lodge No. 314 will conduct graveside rites at the Thorp Cemetery.

Mr. Sullivan was born in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, January 7, 1902, and came here at the age of eight years with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. William J. Sullivan. The family settled first in the Cove District and in 1915, moved to the Kittitas area. He moved to Thorp in the early 1880s.

He was a bus driver and custodian for the Thorp School 13 years, then served several years as fire chief of the Thorp Fire District No. 1. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Ellensburg and of Odd Fellows Lodge of Kittitas.

Survivors include is wife, Ethel, whom he married December 18, 1950 in Ellensburg; a stepdaughters, Mrs. Rowe San Flippo, Freehold, NJ, one grandchild; a brother, Cleo of Thorp, and a sister, Mrs. Glen Crabtree, South Cle Elum.
