Minnie Ada Cullom, born c. 1881/82 in Tennessee. Ada was married to Eugene Meredith Shepherd on December 27, 1899 in Clay County, Tennessee. Eugene was born on July 6, 1874 in Tennessee, the son of David Judd Shepherd (1845 - 1919) and Lassaphine Willomine "Lassie" (Neeley) Shepherd (1855 - 1926).
Ada and E. M. had the following children;
A. David Hall Shepherd, born c. 1900/01 in Tennessee.

B. Bascom Edward Shepherd, born c. 1904/05 in Tennessee.

C. Eugene Meredith "Poppy" Shepherd Jr., born July 10, 1918 in Tennessee. Eugene entered the service on January 23, 1945 at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Eugene Meredith Shepherd Jr. died at the age of 92 on October 24, 2010. According to a site on familysearch, his last place of residence was Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.

Dr. Eugene Meredith Shepherd Sr. died on September 30, 1932 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Eugene, who was a medical doctor, was living at 327 Mockingbird Road in Nashville, when at the age of 58, he died after having had a craniotomy at Vanderbilt Hospital of an acute secondary hemorrhage on September 30, 1932. His mortal remains were laid in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, Tennessee on October 3, 1932. See his Find A Grave Memorial# 162194184.
After his death, Ada and her mother, Sarah Eleanor (Hall) Cullom, moved to 4007 Murphy Road in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.
