He was born on August 24, 1928 to the late Ralph Monroe Felker and Alice Dreese Felker.
He was the widower of Romaine Faye Lash Felker.
He was a sergeant in the United States Army, 2nd Infantry and a veteran of the Korean War.
Ned was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and attended Halifax United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his son James R. Felker, brother Joe Felker, and sisters Kathryn Narehood and Helen Howell.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Halifax United Methodist Church, 105 Wind Hill Drive, Halifax, with Pastor Dale E. Parker officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, Inc., Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made in Ned's name to Halifax United Methodist Church, 105 Wind Hill Drive, Halifax, PA 17032.
