Mrs. Minnie M. Welshimer, 89, a former St. Marys resident, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday in Marlesta Nursing Home.
She was born April 17, 1883 in Arlington to Nathaniel and Sarah (Castor) Anderson. On March 12, 1901, she married William Welshimer and he died in 1959.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Reiser, Bowling Green; Mrs. Kenneth (Peg) Petrak, Findlay; a son Samuel, St Marys; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Welshimer was a charter member of Hawthorne Chapter OES in St. Marys, Past Matrons Club of St. Marys and the St. Marys First Methodist Church.
Services were held in the Coldren Funeral Home, the Rev. C. E. Jeffers officiated. Graveside rites were in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Visitation was held at the funeral home, where the casket remained closed.
