Glenna Sue Arwine passed away January 4, 2017. She was born in Dover, Arkansas on February 18, 1923.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James D. Arwine, and her sister Katheryn McAntire. She is survived by her two loving sons, Roger Dan Arwine Sr. and Robert L Arwine, both of Lansing, KS. Sue was blessed with seven grandchildren, Tina Burch of Lansing, KS, Roger D Arwine, Jr. of Leavenworth, KS, Kathy Baughman of Lansing, KS, Kenny Arwine of Basehor, KS, Michael Arwine of Kansas City, KS, Jamie S. Arwine of Lansing, KS, and Jennifer M. Arwine-Lucas of Kansas City, MO. Sue was very proud of her sixteen great grandchildren.
Sue worked for Hallmark Cards for 25 years. After retiring, Sue enjoyed traveling, cooking, and entertaining her grandchildren. She will be truly missed.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home at 701 N. 94th Street in Kansas City, KS, with a visitation from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017.
