Paul Nolan Lloyd was one of 14 children of James Coleman Lloyd and Sarah Rebecca Hale. On 23 Feb 1938 in Grant County, Indiana, he married Eva Nelle Huffman.

Nolan Lloyd was fatally injured in a two car accident near Cayuga, IN and died about an hour later of a skull fracture at the Vermillion County Hospital Emergency Room in Clinton, Indiana. At the time of his death his residence was R.R. 9, Anderson, Madison County, Indiana. He was a carpenter and farm operator.
