After graduating Bath High School in 1942, Yvonne attended Modern Business College. Yvonne began her career with Irving Oil, then with IAC Financing and finally with Day & Ross where she retired in 1992. Yvonne enjoyed playing 45's, bingo, bowling, square dancing, clogging and going for a drive with Delores to get an ice cream. She was an active member of the CWL at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bath for over 48 years.
Yvonne is survived by her brother-in-law, Norman Burlock and her nine nieces and nephews, Katherine Butler (Claude), Gregory McAloon (Judy), Patsy Smith, Peter McAloon (Sue), Mary Teti (Jim), Christopher Stephen (Lisa), Michael Stephen (Linda), Joseph Stephen (Theresa) and Andrea Stephen (Ron); dear and loyal friend, Delores Bohan as well as many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge the homecare providers as well as the staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital for their wonderful care.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, January 20, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bath. Fr. Owen Burns as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery at a later date.
