Edward Michael Ludwig, Dimondale, age 46, passed away unexpectely Thursday, January 12, 2017, at his home in Dimondale.

Ed was born November 25, 1970 in South Bend, Indiana to Nancy Eileen (Sinkiewicz) and Michael Reed Ludwig. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two uncles.

Ed loved baseball, football, hockey, woodworking and being around family and friends. He belonged to three woodworking clubs (Mid-Michigan Woodworkers Guild, Mid-west Tool Collectors Association and Society of American Period Furniture) and was always looking for another piece of furniture to build. Ed was a great neighbor, always willing to help and had every tool in his garage.

Surviving are his wife, Bridget (Roeder); son, Jarod; a brother, Matt from Mishawaka, IN; a sister, Andrea (Carlos) Rodriguez from New Bern, NC; an uncle Mark from Three Rivers; an aunt and uncle, Sue (Sinkiewicz) and Mike Smith, from New Castle, IN; 3 nephews and 7 nieces.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2017, at Field & Leik Funeral Home, 122 W. Washington, Dimondale, MI 48821. There will be no formal service.
