Kathryn Ada (Wells) Keswick passed away on Sunday after a long and wonderful life. She touched many lives through her love of friends and dedication to her beloved family.
Kathryn was born in Colburn, CO and graduated Palisade High School. She married Arthur in 1947. She graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Psychology, and then earned her Master's Degree in Education, all while raising her children. She taught special education for many years finally retiring from the South Peninsula Hebrew Day School. Throughout her life she faithfully served at church and enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and participating in family gatherings.
Kathryn is survived by her loving husband Arthur; and her devoted children Curtis and Kathy of San Jose, Christopher and Cynthia of Bath, ME, Paul and Teresa of Morgan Hill, and Peter and Chrisanne of Bloomington, MN; and grandchildren Thomas Keswick of Glendale, Christine and Logan Everett of San Jose, Michelle and Barry Gordon of San Jose, Amanda Sindel-Keswick of Cambridge, MA, Travis Sindel-Keswick of Bath, ME, Jillian and Ryan Grotz of Morgan Hill, Jenessa Keswick of Morgan Hill, Julia Keswick of San Jose, Natalie and Jared Kingry of Hopkins, MN, Laurie Keswick of Bloomington, MN and Heidi Keswick of Bloomington, MN; and five great-grandchildren Chloe, Liam, Lucas, Dylan and Audrey. Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at Trinity Episcopal Church (81 N 2nd St., San Jose) on Wednesday Jan. 18, 2017 at 11AM. She will be interned at Los Gatos Memorial Park. A reception will be held at the Villages at 3PM in the Redwood Room.
