Buried at Eureka
Henry C. Case was born in New York Oct. 4, 1843, came to Michigan 1855. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Josephine Hathaway. He was a blacksmith by trade and was engaged in this line of work for a number of years at Eureka and at French Corners. He leaves to mourn his departure, a wife, an adopted son, Lewie F. Case and numerous friends.
Funeral services were held from the Greenbush Methodist church at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26. Burial was at Eureka cemetery, Rev. W. S. Phillips of St. Johns officiating.
