Michael, at the age of 16, immigrated from Poland, aboard the ship Amerika, departing from Hamburg on 27 April 1911 and arriving in Cuxhaven, Southampton, Cherbourg and then on to New York.
Michael was married to Julia Koziel. They raised their children:

~ Joseph (1923-1996),
~ Cecelia (born about 1924),

He had worked as a Coal Miner. He passed away at his home at House #68 in the Crystal Ridge section of Hazel Township. He was 67 years of age. Burial was made at the Transfiguration Cemetery on May 21st.
