Trooper Kenneth W. King was a retired Trooper from the Alabama State Highway Patrol.

Kenneth Wayne King, 63 of Boaz passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham Alabama with his family by his side.

Survivors include Son: Roy King (Deborah), Granddaughters: Gabriella King and Sarah Beth King, Sisters: Darlene Chappell (Glenn), Cheri Harrelson, Teresa Greer (Terry), Host of Nieces and Nephews, and his former wife Kathy Outlaw.

Preceded in death by his daughter Miss Denice King; his parents Mr. & Mrs. Cecil and Willene (nee Odell) King; and his brother Mr. Ricky King, and his 1st wife Mrs. Deborah (nee Porter) King-Winfree.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, Etowah Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Bro. Chad Roberson, Bro. Fred Nichols and Bro. Shannon Pullen will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Timothy Tumbrink, Terry Greer, Henry Ricks, Homer Young, Phillip Nix, and Nathan McDaniel, Honorary Pallbearers will be all State Troopers.

Visitation will be 11:00AM till 2:00PM on Saturday before the service at the funeral home.

In Lieu of Flowers please make donations to Aurora Baptist Church Building Fund or Shepherds Cove Hospice.

It should be noted that Kenneth W. King and his mother both died on March the 14Th.

Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam with distinction and achieved the rank of Specialist 4th Class.

Trooper Kenneth King was laid to rest with full honors from the Alabama State Highway Patrol.
