The native of Oakland lived in Walnut Creek for eight years. She enjoyed travel, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by her daughters, La Verne Torchio of Sun River, Ore., and Lorraine Whitehurst of Alamo; sister, Dena Mastrelli of Walnut Creek; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Alfred, died in 1972.
Services: Liturgy of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill, with burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette. Arrangements by Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel.
