Dies At Lexington

Lexington, Ky., May 25.--Dr. Frederick Gordon LaRue, 72, former superintendent of the Eastern State Hospital for the Insane, died at 9:10 a.m. today at his apartment at the hospital after an illness of eight years. He was superintendent of the institution here from 1921 to 1931, when he was stricken with paralysis.
Dr. LaRue, before coming to Lexington, served as superintendent of the Western State Hospital at Hopkinsville from 1916 to 1921. His wife, Mrs. Violet Seaver LaRue, is a member of the staff at Eastern State.
