MORRISON, Phyllis Ann, A longtime resident of Dayton and Kettering went home to be with the Lord in the afternoon of January 13th 2017. Her loving husband was at her side. She was born on December 31st 1930 in Dayton to the late Norma and Dave Saben. Phyllis graduated from Stivers High School, Class of 1948, and stayed connected with many of her classmates during reunions and other activities throughout the years. A lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dayton, she was active in women's groups, bible studies, and weekly worship. Phyllis was a devoted wife for over sixty-six years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband Basil; children Matt Morrison (Etsuko) of San Diego CA, Mindy Busch (Trey) of Monterey CA, and Molly Ferguson (Jerry) of Georgetown KY; sister Patricia Hoke of Kettering; grandchildren, Tina Darnell, Karen Stephenson, Chelsea (Trey) Davis, Bering Busch, Annie (Dave) Hanson, Sydney and Mariel Busch, Shannon and Parker Ferguson; great grandchildren Lauren and Claire Darnell; and friends too many to count. The family is honoring her request for no public service. In memory of mom, the family requests that contributions be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 3315 Martel Drive, Dayton OH 45420, in Phyllis' name.
