He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Addie Lou (Guinn) Calhoun, and his sister, Carolyn Ann Stockton.
Chuck was a proud member of the United States Army and served a tour in Vietnam. He played football for and continued to be an avid fan of the Florid State Seminoles. Chuck was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served a mission for the church at the Bishop’s Storehouse. He also participated in the Quilts of Valor organization. Chuck will be remembered as a man with an incredibly strong work ethic who loved football, people, and most of all, his family.
Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 with receiving of friends from 6-7pm and service beginning at 7pm. Interment will be at the East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery with full military honors on Thursday, January 26th at 11:30am.
