Thompson, Alice L. Rose, 78, resident of Wheeling, WV., died Monday, November
10, 2003 at her home. She was born March 12, 1925 in Wheeling, the daughter of
the late William L. and Gertrude Elizabeth Leithe Rose, Sr. She was an office
worker at the former Scio Pottery Co., Scio, OH. She was also a member of the
Scio Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her husband, Ralph Thompson. Surviving are her brothers, William L. Rose, Jr.
and his wife, Jean, and Benjamin L. Rose and his wife, Earlene of Wheeling; her
sisters, Helen Roberts and her husband, Hugh of Fairmont, WV., and Jeannie
Nichols of Dumont, NJ., several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received
from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101
Warwood Ave., Wheeling, where services will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
