Eunice N. Millard, 84, of Alma Center, Wis., died on Monday, January 15, 2007, at her home.

She was born on February 10, 1922, in Fosston, Minn., to Peder and Beata (Berge) Neset. Eunice graduated from high school and married Gyle J. Millard in Washington, D.C., on June 12, 1943.

Eunice was an active member of the Assembly of God Church, and belonged to the Alma Center VFW Auxiliary. Favorite pastimes included sewing and stamp collecting, which she enjoyed since childhood.

Eunice is survived by three sons, Warren (Darlene) Millard of Alma Center, Kirby (Mary Lou) Millard of Augusta and Norman (Anna) Millard of Neillsville; six daughters, Jean (Riesenweber) Turner of Alexandria, Minn., Nadeen (Dennis) McCredden of Pleasant Prairie, Heidi Jo (Larry) Golz of Chippewa Falls, Susan Millard of Kenosha, Lori (David) Millard-Hughart of Alma Center and Kolene Millard Schnitzler of Alma Center; two brothers, Elmer Neset of Hills, Minn., and Norman (Jan) Neset of Bemidji, Minn.; two sisters, Violet Solberg of Fosston, Minn., and Lucille (Duane) Van Dame of Bismarck, N.D.; 24 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gyle, on August 27, 1985.

Funeral services for Eunice N. Millard will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2007, at the Assembly of God Church, Alma Center, with the Rev. Greg Mandigo officiating. Burial will take place in Oxbow Cemetery, rural Melrose.

Friends may call at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.
