Walter W. Stewart, Jr., age 81, formerly of 2328 9th Street, Two Rivers passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center (formerly Hamilton Care Center), Two Rivers, surrounded by his family.Walter was born March 22, 1935 in McGregor, Iowa, son of the late Walter, Sr. and Wilhelmina (Henry) Stewart. On December 8, 1956 he married the former Barbara Seybert in Wauzeka, WI. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2004.Walter had been employed at Hamilton's in Two Rivers and St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc before his retirement.Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law: Cathy Laurin, TX; Connie & Mike Lang, MN; Carol Schroeder, Two Rivers; Cindy Stewart, Two Rivers; one son and two daughters-in-law: Scott and Theresa Stewart, Two Rivers, Linda Rohrer, Two Rivers; 19 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Fred Stewart, Monterey, California and Terry and Dianne Stewart, Two Rivers; one sister: Betty Schlueter, Luana, Iowa; one brother-in-law: Larry Breckler, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Stewart; parents: Walter Sr. and Wilhelmina Stewart; two sons: Tom Stewart and Randy Stewart; one great-grandson; one son-in-law: Lonnie Schroeder; one sister: Ann Breckler; one sister-in-law: Yoshi Stewart.Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and services for Walter will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers.
