STEVEN K. ALTEKRUSE, 61, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. Born Oct. 30, 1955, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Budd and Joan Altekruse. He enjoyed reading, music and singing karaoke with his friends. He is survived by his siblings, Susan (Kim) Spielman and John (Karen) Altekruse; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Parkview Regional Medical Center ICU. The family would like to thank the Parkview ICU staff as well as all his friends and neighbors that he truly valued.
