MRS. A. KATHERINE (BIETSCH) MOWREY, 87, wife of J. Hase Mowery, Riddle and Kenwood roads, Chambersburg, died at 3.05 a.m. Sunday at the Chambersburg Hospital. She had been ill five weeks.
A native of Chambersburg, she was a daughter of George and Elizabeth (Pressler) Bietsch.
She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church and the Chambersburg Garden Club.
Surviving are her husband; two sisters, Mrs. A. N. Cramer of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Gertrude Dixon, Lincoln, Calif., and two brothers, J. Bert Bietsch of Carlisle and Thomas O. Bietsch of Mount Holly Springs.
Services are set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with the Rev. Donald E. May in charge. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before the service.
