Paul was born the son of the late John and Mae {Montgomery} Leidel, he lived in Louisville, Kentucky for many years before retiring from sales to Southeast Texas. He served in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Navy. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jasper.
Paul is survived by his loving children, John Daniel Leidel of Houston and Paula Doerr and husband, Mark of Fred; and a host of other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by 1st wife: Lila G. Leidel & 2nd wife; Opal Lea Leidel
Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Baker, Bob Dannar, Joe Dannar, Eli Mitcham, Brother James Gill and Brother James Murry.
