Mother of Alfred Charles Koehler, Patricia Helen Harnisch, Elizabeth Mary Koehler, Gerard John "Jerry" Koehler, Joseph Walter Koehler, Isaac David "Dave" Koehler, Bernadette Agatha Mangus, Mary Zenovia Matula and Zenovia Helen Mackenzie; sister of Betty Ann Kemper, Barbara Bradt and Walter Gruger; cousin of Yvonne Carnes and other relatives. Also survived by 26 grandchildren. She was predeceased by three of her children, John Jacob Koehler, III, Teresa Marie Koehler and Christopher Francis Koehler; and 11 of her grandchildren. ∼Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Major General John J. Koehler, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.); children, Alfred Charles Koehler, Patricia Helen Harnisch, Elizabeth Mary Koehler, Gerard John "Jerry" Koehler, Joseph Walter Koehler, Isaac David "Dave" Koehler, Bernadette Agatha Mangus, Mary Zenovia Matula, & Zenovia Helen Mackenzie; 26 grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, Betty Ann Kemper, Barbara Bradt, & Walter Gruger; cousin, Yvonne Carnes.
She was preceded in death by three children, John Jacob Koehler III, Teresa Marie Koehler, & Christopher Francis Koehler, and 11 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted on Saturday, January 20, 2007, at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Alexandria, VA. Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, January 23, 2007.
