She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl Headland; son, John Headland; daughter, Beth Bossinger; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Church of Our Saviour, with the Rev. Kathleen Sturges officiating. Interment took place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
