He served in the Army from May 28, 1959 until October 21, 1964, receiving the rank of PVT- E-2. Felton was employed by Gulf Life Insurance Company for 15 years in the Underwriting Department. He then joined Gager Industries for 40 years where he retired.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Brenda Taylor, son Cason T. Abercrombie, two granddaughters, Alexis and China, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He had a passion for football, especially the Florida Gators, with season tickets with friends for many years. He was all about family and friends and loved planning vacations and special events.
A memorial service will be held on February 6th at 11:00 AM at Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Blvd, North, followed by a Celebration of Life in the Social Hall. On February 10th at 2:00 PM a memorial service will be held a Rose Hill Cemetery; followed by a reception at the home of Demaris Tyre, 308 Meadows Rd. Alma, Georgia.
Memorials may be made to K-9 for Warriors, 114 Camp K-9 Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32081.
