Billie Marie Grounds, age 88, of Tulsa, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at her home.

Billie was born on February 1, 1929 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Cliston and Sadie (Pointer) Bagwell. She attended school at Cleveland, Oklahoma and married Carl W. Grounds on November 25, 1947 in Tulsa. The couple lived in Tulsa most of their life. Carl passed away January 15, 2006. Billie was a homemaker all her life.

Billie was preceded by parents, husband and two brothers.

Celebration of life graveside services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., February 6, 2017 at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Fred Waldrep officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck of Sand Springs.
