US Air Force Airman First Class Daryl Lee Davis was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Air Force, A1C Davis served our country until November 30th, 1967 in Kontum, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was married. It was reported that Daryl died when his plane crashed. His body was recovered. Daryl was born on July 5th, 1946 in Guilford Co., North Carolina. A1C Davis is on panel 31E, line 010 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 2 years.
He is Alumni from Garinger North Carolina High School Class of 1964.

He was awarded The Bronze Star Medal, The Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal and The National Defense Service Medal.
