He was born the son of Frank and Fannie (Fisk) Adams. He attended Charlestown schools and was the former owner of the Farr and Adams Garage, Bellows Falls, VT.
He later worked at Fellows Gear Shaper, Springfield, VT, before retiring at the age of 36 due to ill health.
He married Marjorie Farrell in 1933 in Ascutney, VT. She died in October of 1984
Survivors include two sons; a daughter; two sisters, Edna F. Farrell, Charlestown, and Elsie Cromwell, North Charlestown; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the Pine Crest Cemetery, Charlestown, with the Rev. Madeline Barber officiating.
