Roger was born September 7, 1935 in Mishicot, son of the late John and Emily (Bouda) Duffek.
He was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1954.
On September 17, 1960 he married Corrine Stock at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Roger was employed as a Draftsman with Hamilton Industries in Two Rivers and as a CAD Operator with the Frank Hamachek Machine Co. in Kewaunee. He served 10 years with the National Guard.
Roger enjoyed his yard work, boating, skiing, steam trains and threshing machines. He also liked music and dancing as well as drawing up house plans, several of which have been built in the Two Rivers-Manitowoc area.
Survivors include his wife: Corrine Duffek, Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Craig Rodefer, West Bend; two grandchildren: Ryan (Jodi) Duffek, Mesa, AZ and Kaitlin Zimick, Mosinee; two great-granddaughters: Emma and Grace Duffek, Mesa, AZ; one brother-in-law: Dennis (Virginia) Stock, Sun Prairie; and one niece: Barbara Phillips, Manitowoc. Other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Emily Duffek; and one daughter: Tammy Zimick; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Esther and Harold Stock; and one brother-in-law: Terrance Stock.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with burial to follow at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
