Mr. Monday was born Aug. 30, 1958 at Chicago, the son of the late Floyd and Cecile Jones Monday.
He is survived by four siblings, Laurie Palacios, Amy Monday, Mari Jones and Bill (Sherry) Monday.
Mr. Monday lived in Oakland for 27 years, after coming from Justice, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.
He was employed at North American Lighting and previously worked at Simonton Windows.
