Benjamin Burton “Ben” “BB” Ewing II, age 61 of Georgetown passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017.

Ben retired from Sussex Tech in September of 2016 after 30 years. He was a veteran of the U S Marines, a member of the Marine Corps League, Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville, he was Past Director of Delmarva HOG. He was a former Gun Safety Instructor for DENREC. BB loved shooting and riding his Harley.

He was the son of the late J. Benjamin Ewing Jr and Patricia Lowe Ewing.

Ben is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois Baker Ewing, 2 children, Derek Benjamin Ewing and Kaylin Patricia Ewing, a brother, Richard “Rick” Lowe Ewing (Kim) a sister, Penny Morgan Ewing Pritchett and several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Scooter Harley.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, February 8th at 2 PM at Union United Methodist Church, 201 N. Laws St, Bridgeville, where friends may call from 12 to 2 PM. Burial will be in Bridgeville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 222 Riverside Dr, Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60606 or Home for the Brave Foundation, 6630 Sharps Rd, Milford, DE 19963.
