She was married on December 30, 1951 to Robert Powell Rone (1930-1999).
Betty was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church and was also involved in the Christian Women's Club, the Historical Society and was past president of the United Methodist Women.
She was 85 years old when she passed away on February 4, 2017 at her Clarksville home.
Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, she was survived by two married sons, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Sykes Funeral Home, and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
