Funeral services for Mr. Seldon L. "Dobie" Bryant, 70, of Shreveport, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 30 at Rose-Neath's Marshall St. Chapel. Dr. Dan Tohline, Pastor of Mangum Memorial United Methodist Church, and Rev. Leo Beck, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park.

He died Saturday Nov. 28, 1981 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center. Mr. Bryant, born in Angeline, Mo. and a resident of Shreveport the past 45 years, was a retired Conductor for the Kansas City Southern Railroad. He grew up and graduated from high school in Leesville, La. Mr. Bryant was Methodist.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joycelain Howard Bryant of Shreveport, two sons, one daughter, one step-daughter; two sisters, Mrs. Aileen Landry of Fort Worth, Tex. and Mrs. Basil Doles of Rayville, La.; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pall bearers will be Ward Elmo Bryant, Jr., James P. Fanguy, Thad R. Greer, Stephen P. Young, Joseph H. Young and Shelby Huff.
