"James Alfred Sutton, 81, of 310 N Franklin St, died Thursday at 10:30 am in Titusville Hospital after being admitted there Monday. He was born in Deerfield Township, Warren County, July 1, 1896, a son of James and Ida Frisbee Sutton. He married Ella Harriet Thomas on June 1, 1921, at Warren. Mr Sutton was employed as a machinist his entire life. During World War II, he was an employee of National Forge at Irwin, and was later employed by Hillcrest Machine Co of Pleasantville. He retired in 1965. He is survived by his wife; a son, Robert L Sutton, of Tidioute, RD 1; a brother, Charles T Sutton of Lakewood, NY; a sister, Mrs Nellie Hollabaugh of Youngsville, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home...and attend the funeral there Saturday at 1 pm with Rev Sheridan C Rainey, pastor of Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery."
