Oskaloosa —
A visitation for LaNora Mae Courter, 61, Oskaloosa, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Inurnment will be at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Courter died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.
She was born Jan. 12, 1944, the daughter of James David and Willa Pearl Ward Guthrie.
Mrs. Courter had worked as a certified medical aide at the Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskaloosa since 1980.

She married Thomas Ray Courter on May 5, 1997, in Oskaloosa. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include five brothers, Keith Guthrie, Auburn, Calif., Jimmie Guthrie, Livingston, Texas, Michael Guthrie, Ottawa, Larry Guthrie, Tonganoxie, and Gary Guthrie, Pearland, Texas; and two sisters, Wanda Chapman, Tampa, Fla., and Janice Reed, Paola.
