Jane A. Brault, age 80, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Sunday evening, February 5, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Jane was born on August 30, 1936 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Ervin and Ethel Rieboldt Klusmeyer. Jane was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1954. She continued her education for the next two years at Manitowoc County Normal. Jane was employed as a teacher and teacher’s assistant for many years at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Manitowoc. On January 26, 1957 she married David J. Brault at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1997. Jane enjoyed growing flowers in her garden. She also enjoyed mentoring her grandchildren with her education background.

She is survived by one son: Todd Brault, Manitowoc; three daughters: Vicki (Jack) Geerdts, Manitowoc; Sharon (Dennis) Niccum, Holmen; Sandy (Tom) Scheurell, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren: Melissa, Heather, Hanna, Sara, Daniel, Brandon, Trevor, and Jordan; four great grandchildren: Kendra, Jacob, Aliyia, and Sophia; one sister: Barbara (Richard) Laurent, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ervin and Ethel Klusmeyer; husband: David; one brother and sister-in-law: John and Janice Klusmeyer; brother-in-law: Robert Schwahert.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m.on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Judine Duerwaechter . Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc.
