∼Roy was the son of Charles L. and Erma L. (Vore) Beebout. On November 14, 1981, he married Celinda M. (Larimore) Beebout.
Roy worked as a pipe fitter at Dilling Mechanical for 26 years.
He attended the Burnettsville Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, camping and racing at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg.
Surviving with his wife are four sons, Bob (Jackie) Beebout, Troy Beebout, Dustin Beebout (Adrienne Kizer), and Brock (J. Elise) Beebout; one brother, Ronnie (Fern) Beebout; three sisters, Rosalee Hall, Susan (Jack) Henry, and Connie (John) Smith; one sister-in-law, Nancy Beebout; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Helen Spencer, Mable Beebout, and Edith Razer; and brothers, Jerry, Jess, Danny Joe, and Sam.
A funeral service celebrating Roy's life will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel at the First Baptist Church of Burnettsville, with Pastor Paul Scott officiating. Burial will be at Davis Cemetery near Burnettsville.
