NEW GLOUCESTER - Donna Marie Glaser (Lindson) passed away peacefully on February 7, 2017, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on September 11, 1952, in South Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of Christine Moskal and Donald Lindson of South Amboy.

Donna attended St. Mary's Reginald High School through grade 10, and graduated from Seacrest High School in Delray Beach, Florida in 1970. She also attended the University of South Florida in Tampa from 1970-1971.

She moved to Maine in October 1981.

Donna worked for 32 years at Bath Iron Works, where she was a graduate of the outside machinist apprenticeship program, and performed duties as an outside machinist, front line supervisor, and marine design engineer.

She was predeceased by her son, Earl Donald Glaser.

She is survived by her son, Danney R. Glaser II and his wife Nicole Glaser, of Nottingham, NH; four grandchildren, Gwyneth Glaser, Grafton Glaser, Gus Glaser, and Graeley Glaser; eight nieces and nephews; and eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Donna was an active member of the Cumberland County Republican Committee and was on the Town of New Gloucester planning board. She enjoyed driving, cooking, traveling, bowling, playing billiards, playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren, and sharing meals with close family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-9pm Friday, February 10, 2017, at WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 24 Shaker Road, Gray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday at St. Gregory's Church, 24 North Raymond Road, Gray. Committal will be in Gray Village Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are under the care of WILSON FUNERAL HOME, in Gray.
