Janet, born and raised in Baltimore, Md., was married to Norman J. Currie, who preceded her in death, and had three children. Janet was a longtime resident of North Carolina, where she lived with her daughter, Lori, and son-in-law, James. In the end, Janet passed away in the company of her family and her dog, Bear, curled up beside her.
Janet is survived by her children, Deborah of Matthews, N.C., Lori of Bolivia, N.C., and Norman of Sykesville, Md.; and granddaughters, Victoria, Hillary, Jordan and Sydney.
Janet will be laid to rest with her husband, Norman, in Baltimore, Md., and the family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's memory to the Brunswick County Hospice.
